Treatment for Anxiety Using Linden Herb
While many people might call Linden blossoms lime flowers they are in fact two distinctly different types of plants. The very fragrant Linden flower has been used since ancient times as a calming agent to relieve symptoms of stress and anxiety, as well as for common colds, indigestion and colicky pain in the stomach. It's also one of the few herbs considered good to give children but remember to check with your doctor first before doing so.

For either children or adults one of the best ways to take Linden is in tea form as it tastes quite pleasant.
For acute cases of anxiety you can drink several cups of Linden tea daily for up to one week. If you're planning on taking the tea for longer, between 3 6 months, you'll need to cut down your intake of the tea to just three cups per day.

Alternatively a tincture or a fluid extract of Linden may be used. You will need 3/41 teaspoonful (35 ml) of Linden tincture three times daily.
